Girls in Campo e Colégio Santa Cruz
The Girls in Field project started in August 2016 in São Paulo, through a partnership between Colégio Santa Cruz, PRODHE USP (Human Development through Sport Program) and EACH USP Leste.
It was conceived with the objective of offering a regular program for the learning and development of women's football, in order to democratize girls' access to their practice and to use sport as a means for empowerment and enhancement of human potential. It is a non-profit project, maintained by Colégio Santa Cruz, a philanthropic entity and is located in the neighborhood of Butantã.
OUR MISSION
Promote sport as a factor for the social inclusion of children and adolescents, encouraging human development, their social emotional skills and competences, for citizen formation and the dissemination of a sports culture in communities.

WHERE WE WANT TO GET
To be recognized as a reference for empowerment and human development programs for girls and women in sport, especially in football. It improves methods, develops content and consolidates practices that can awaken results of high social and sporting impact.
GOALS
GENERAL
Provide access and opportunity for human development in a safe environment for girls aged 9 to 17 years.
Develop the practice of women's soccer, sports training and the possibility of practicing in high performance in the grassroots categories.
Promote training events and training in order to multiply and strengthen knowledge and methodologies.
We support the SDGs and UN objectives 3, 4 and 5 are part of the objectives of the Project Girls in the Field.
SPECIFIC
• Create a safe space for girls and women to practice physical activity, especially soccer.
• Provide an adequate structure for the development of talents in the basic sports training process for athletes and project professionals.
• Expand the motor repertoire and the possibilities for sporting experience of the participants.
• Develop the “Family at stake” program, through the development of knowledge. It aims to involve the family in activities outside the field, in addition to encouraging the practice of physical activity.
• Empower girls and women through the school of leaders. With tools, concepts and experiences, it seeks to awaken and expand collective and social awareness.
• Train girls with a technical differential to work in high performance competitions.
• Maintain permanently qualified professionals, through continuous training, guidance, supervision and monitoring.
• Involve schools, family groups and nearby communities in some punctual or continuous action on the project.
• Contribute to the definition and qualification of local sports social indicators.
• Support local initiatives for social inclusion through sport, in line with the precepts of the project.
